Toutes vues d\u2019ensemble, fa\u00e7ades et d\u00e9tails, d\u2019o\u00f9 ressort un int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier pour l\u2019architecture dans ses dimensions graphiques et g\u00e9om\u00e9triques, les perspectives ombr\u00e9es et les textures des mat\u00e9riaux. \u00c0 Paris, o\u00f9 il se forme \u00e0 la photographie argentique puis \u00e0 la sc\u00e9nographie d\u2019\u00e9quipement culturel, s\u2019il explore de nouveaux objets picturaux tels le corps, le regard, qu\u2019il expose sous forme d\u2019installations, il continue de documenter les chantiers, les livraisons et les salles de spectacle, lesquelles, d\u00e9sert\u00e9es par la crise sanitaire, ossatures vid\u00e9es de sens et criantes de vide, fourniront le mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 son exposition \u00ab En attente \u00bb.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0 Derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape, derni\u00e8re escale, Douarnenez, o\u00f9 il s\u2019installe en 2013.\u00a0 Une rencontre marqu\u00e9e par une proximit\u00e9, toute nouvelle pour lui, avec la sph\u00e8re maritime. \u00ab Bombay est aussi une ville portuaire, explique-t-il, pourtant cette dimension y est moins apparente, le port de Bombay est ainsi quasiment inaccessible, invisible, emmur\u00e9. \u00bb \u00c0 Douarnenez, les bateaux sont partout, en toute proximit\u00e9. \u00c0 quai, dans les ports, en cale s\u00e8che, pourrissant dans un cimeti\u00e8re, en construction ou r\u00e9fection dans les chantiers ouverts qui longent le Port-Rhu, fourmillant lors des f\u00eates maritimes. Il y met un pied \u00e0 bord et aussi la main \u00e0 la p\u00e2te. Sa fascination pour les mat\u00e9riaux y trouve un nouveau sens, sinon existentiel du moins m\u00e9taphorique, celui du cycle g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9rosion de la mer et du temps, du vieillissement des structures, du savoir-faire et des usages s\u00e9culaires.
